As we move deeper into the 2024 election season, the debate stage remains a focal point for Democrats and Republicans. While political theater is entertaining and allows candidates to exchange carefully crafted soundbites, let’s be honest: do we need to see more debates? The answer is clear – we’ve already seen what we need to see, not in a discussion, but in our everyday lives.

We’ve Felt the Pain of Inflation

The skyrocketing prices at the gas pump are not figments of our imagination or issues that can be debated away. Under the Biden-Harris administration, gas prices have soared to levels that hurt hardworking Americans. We feel the pinch every time we fill up our tanks, and no amount of political grandstanding on stage will change that reality. We know who to blame.

Let’s not forget the rising prices at the grocery store. The essentials – milk, eggs, bread – are all pricier, and families across the country are struggling to make ends meet. You don’t need a televised debate to understand that Bidenomics has failed.

Interest Rates Skyrocket – The American Dream Slips Away

Homeownership, once a pillar of the American dream, is slipping away for many due to increased interest rates. Mortgage rates have reached a level not seen in decades, making it difficult for young families and first-time homebuyers to own a home. Every American feels this, and it’s a direct result of the failed economic policies of the current administration. Do we need to listen to more scripted talking points about how they plan to fix a problem they’ve made worse?

Energy Prices – Heating and Cooling Costs Out of Control

Energy prices have also risen, with utility bills for gas, electricity, and heating oil hitting record highs. As the colder months approach, Americans dread the hefty costs to keep their homes warm. The administration’s focus on green energy policies while pushing for a transition from fossil fuels, has led to inflated energy costs. Working families feel the burden every month. These are not issues that can be solved in a debate—they are realities we live with daily.

Insurance Costs Soar – Making Life Even More Unaffordable

It’s not just energy bills weighing down the American household budget. Health insurance premiums, home insurance, and auto insurance have all increased substantially, making it harder for families to afford essential protection. These rising costs directly impact the middle class and those living paycheck to paycheck. Yet, this administration has failed to address these issues, leaving Americans with skyrocketing expenses.

The Border Crisis – A National Security Issue

Under this administration, we’ve witnessed a shocking increase in illegal border crossings, with little being done to secure our nation’s borders. Tasked with handling the border crisis, Kamala Harris has shown little results. Record numbers of undocumented migrants continue to cross into the United States, further straining our resources and increasing crime rates. In places like Aurora, Colorado, we’re now seeing foreign gangs taking over apartment complexes, creating lawless zones in our neighborhoods. Meanwhile, crime rates are dropping in countries like Venezuela and Mexico as gang members and criminals are fleeing to the U.S., exploiting the lack of border enforcement.

Other nations’ prison populations are shrinking, not because of successful rehabilitation programs but because criminals are being exported to our borders. We don’t need another debate to know that this administration has failed to secure our borders. The chaos speaks for itself.

Rising Crime Rates – A Dangerous Reality

Crime rates, particularly in Democrat-run cities, have skyrocketed. Communities that once thrived now live in fear as violent crimes and theft plague their streets. The Biden-Harris administration’s soft-on-crime policies and lack of support for law enforcement have exacerbated the problem. The takeover of an apartment complex by a Venezuelan gang in Aurora, Colorado, is a prime example of how foreign criminal elements are infiltrating our cities.

More debates won’t change the reality of increased lawlessness in our country. Voters see what’s happening in their neighborhoods and can draw their conclusions. While crime drops in countries exporting their problems to us, American communities are paying the price.

Enough is Enough – It’s Time to Act

The issues that plague our nation today—rising inflation, increasing border insecurity, higher interest rates, inflated energy bills, climbing insurance costs, and growing crime rates—are not theoretical points to be debated. They are facts of everyday life under the Biden-Harris administration. As voters, we don’t need more rehearsed responses or carefully curated “debate moments.” We’ve seen enough to know that this administration has failed, and no second or third debate will change that.

It’s time for real solutions, not more empty rhetoric. The American people deserve better, and we don’t need another debate to tell us what we already know: it’s time for change.
