Why are their investments in their government\u2019s policies not producing dividends when it is so glaringly apparent \u2013 with the crumbling infrastructure, underfunded schools, and homeless epidemic \u2013 that the most basic needs of their country can\u2019t be met?<\/p>\n\n\n\n A great symbol of misplaced priorities is that the government sent money overseas (to people who, in many instances, are poorer than us) while Americans are struggling too.
